Took a quick walk today with out the snow shoes...and the snow was between knee and crotch deep....still.

That makes for some tough walking.
I saw a group of deer walking together single file down a creek just like the one in your pic. Path of least resistance i guess, rather than plow through the deep snow.

Thanks for the comments....still can't see the top of my well casing in the yard, so I know the snow isn't melting too quickly.

Nice pics, I live in Erie county, the snow is about 15" deep in the yard. Last week it over 2 feet.
