Traded the Grizzly in for the mountian bike today, here's some GoPro footage that was mounted to the handle bars. These are just a few clips of the aprox. 7 miles I rode at Michaux today prepping for the mountian bike race they are having on Sunday that I signed up for. Part way through the clip I go over the handle bars - with one foot still clipped into the pedals - enjoy! OH, and I think Michaux is Indian for ROCKS!

I'm riding a pretty high tech old school Mongoose IBOC hardtail that I've had since the late 90's. I'll get a picture of it tommorrow.

It was probally the most physically challenging thing I have ever done! 11 miles of rocky, rough, hilly terrian. Still it was fun and I was pleased with my results for my first race. I finshed 34th overall and 13th in the 18-34 age group, I didn't wreck and I didn't get any flats.

I've got some good helmet cam footage, I just haven't had time to edit it yet.

Finished my second mountain bike race today, 15th overall out of 75+ riders. 8th in my age group, missed a top 5 finish by less then 2 minutes, got held up in a bunch of traffic early on which killed my time. Did the 13 mile Terror of Teaberry course in a 1 hour 37 minutes in the rain and had a blast doing it! No more races until the spring though.
