Finally found some birds that were willing to put on a show for us this morning!! Check out the hooks on the one strutter!!! Also saw 3 bearded hens in one small flock??? Is that trait hereditary??

Man I can't wait for this season to get here!!!!!!

Nice set of spurs on the one. I've been seeing considerably less birds this spring thus far. Granted, I haven't been out actively looking for them, but I used to see alot more in my daily travels. Not sure if the weather is to blame or not.

Pics are from an older Canon 30D SLR camera with a 55-250 lens. The turkeys were working up a draw and we were able to get in front of them and set up on a hillside above them about 50 yards. No calling just watching and waiting.
