This is an assault rifle:

(insert sarcasm) well for one because it is "BLACK", but it also falls under the definition of the Clinton Assault ban, as it has a collapsible stock, and a flash suppressor......so if you go by that definition it is an assault weapon......

But this is not:

Even though it is the identical gun.......

Maybe this will put it into perspective to some of you people, and show you how ridiculous you sound using the terms "Assault Rifle", and "Black Gun"........

I for one was brought up to not discriminate against any gun based on its color. Black, brown, white, or red, I love all guns
Guys seriously, can we try to limit this to a few threads, y'all are killing us..

This is great.
I absolutely love this thread! I was thinking about doing the same thing with a Remington 760 (since it is PA's deer rifle!) You could very easily put a pistol grip stock, tactical slide grip probably with a verticle grip, 30 round mag, and a Red Dot with a light and laser. And run it as fast as most people can with a standard AR.

Ok I decided I would go ahead and add some pics to go along with my last post.....

Here is PA's favorite deer rifle, we have all seen these!

And here is the "Black" version of the EXACT same rifle!!

Now, will somebody please exlpain to me how you can ban one and not the other??? Be careful when classifying what guns are "OK" to ban! NONE Are "OK" to ban!!

That is exactly what I was trying to construe with this thread, and some things I have mentioned on here in the past day............people need to stop using these terms loosely, and saying that the guns have no legitimate purpose.......you give them an inch, and they will take a mile for sure.....
The best part will be when every news outlet broadcasts Eric 'Fast&Furious' Holder standing behind a podium explaining to the country on why he wants to ban "assault weapons" and telling us all how dangerous they are. He is responsible for more deaths by Illegal Sales of Legal Guns than anyone else in the Country.
Ouch - thats gonna leave a mark!
Get involved in the discussions that are coming. Make sure the definitions are correct because I believe the bans are coming.
only a fool would think banning guns will stop murder.
Lot of fools in this country look who got reelected.
Funny you can't explain anything of sense to a liberal, so they wanna ban AR15's huh? Well welcome to the worse case of panic buying I have ever seen. Local shops wiped out, and what I've seen on Gun Broker this week is telling. Monday 16 pages of AR's for sale, yesterday 11 pages, this morning 10 pages. Liberals are putting more of these guns out there than ever before, just by opening their sewer holes.
The maufacturers are getting nervous too. Cerberus is selling Bushmaster Firearms International at a deep discount with hopes of finding a buyer and avoiding the closeure of the company. Thsi is not a good time to sell but they are going ahead with the sale and accepting offers. They also seem concerned with possible litigation and are denying any responsibility .
This thread perfectly illustrates exactly what many firearms supporters that actually have a understanding of guns have been saying about how dangerous this discussion will be for gun owners across this country. It is the intent of the far left and the antis to eviscerate our rights by using words such as "sensible" restrictions and "assault rifles" to gather enough support to do the deed.

Have no doubt, many firearms firmly entrenched in the sporting, target and personal defense communities will be in serious trouble if gun rights advocates buckle at this point in time.

Well said, you are 100% correct. I am strongly in fear of the ban on my Benelli semiauto 12ga with a pistol grip stock...used exclusively for killing turkeys!
