Normally I do all my planting in mid August. But this year I frost seeded some oats In my largest food plot. It has done pretty well. My question is now what should I do with it to be in the best shape for October. Should I cut it, let it alone, or plant something else? Any good thoughts would be appreciated

Do you have anything else planted "underneath" the oats? If you mow now and get some rain, the oats will likely germinate and grow amongst whatever else is growing in the plot (if anything).

What are your goals for the plot this fall?
