Im looking for ideas of what to plant around the wooded side of my "plot." I plan on doing sunflower/bean mix in the sunnier side, but there is a strip next to the wood edge that obviously is not going to provide enough sun. I dont want that land to be waste so i would like to plant something to compliment the plot. I could use some left over clover but i would prefer something different as I have an acre of this already in. Thanks in advance.

I was going to say White Dutch clover, as it is more tolerant of shade, but, most other stuff really likes full sun.

this strip does get full sun for about 4 hours in the late morning into early afternoon. After that, the trees partiall shade it then fully shade it by late afternoon/evening. I can always try it and see what happens, maybe a shot of clover just in case the beans fail in that area.
