It' been a while since I've been up. About a month. A few of us are heading up a week from tomorrow for "coyote camp". None of us are accomplished predator hunters, but one of the guys has all the stuff. We'll give it a try, but mostly a guys hang-out weekend.

What are you fishing for? I took a walk along our local creek yesterday with the polarized Costas to look for signs of life. Everything seems pretty dormant.

Nice. Are they deep? We won't catch a bass in our lake until late May. Probably just don't know how to fish for cold water bass. Slow and low, that is the tempo?

Yea they are deep we are catching them between 8 an 15 feet

Many of the SGL 57 folks know Windy Valley Road. The driver was going down Windy Valley Road towards Rt 87. He got to the S turn but went straight in to Stitsingers field but went down about 15 feet first. Lucky he/she was not hurt. Got to love the message on the windshield. The car was towed out today.

We actually did do some coyote hunting. Not successfully, but we went out.

Wife and I are at camp for a few days for her birthday. About 2" of snow at camp, but getting sloppy. Temperature was about 30° overnight, almost 40° now.
Just drove across Dutch Mountain Rd. to Dushore. Saw about 20 deer.

No plans, just a couple of days of relaxing and enjoying being at camp.

I wonder how far away we will have a signal. Right now I lose the signal halfway up 487 and do not get it again until Mildred.

Same with me. I have AT&T. I imagine it would bridge that gap. Between the shale pit and Lopez, it's relatively flat. Lopez and Mildred are what? 3 miles apart? I think you'd have signal the whole way through.

When it will finally be operational, who knows? This has been in the works for like 2 years. Over the summer, the word is it would be online by buck season. 3 months later and nothing. The whole project is supposed to take 3 months, so we should be there.

Maybe it's a cheap, Chinese tower. Runs on two AA batteries.

Where did you find the pike? I fished Blue Marsh Lake and Stilling Basin yesterday. The Schuylkill River and canal today. Not a nibble.
