What is going on with all the fences? Does anyone have the real answer?

A few years ago after the Commish had large tracts of certain gamelands logged off, fences went up around the areas. Reason told at the time was of a 10 year study and regrowth program... Well over 10 years later, loggers are back in the fenced tracts and clear cutting again! Loggers report fences will remain on site indefinately for future timber purposes!!!!

Lost many good hunting spots to the fences and was anxiously waiting their removal!!!

I'm guessing that they did the initial harvest on a seedtree cut or shelterwood cut, and now that initial regeneration is adequately established, they have come back and removed the rest of the overstory (looks like a clearcut) to recover the sawtimber (perhaps cherry?) and start the new forest with the advance regeneration that is present.
