With being left handed, does anyone shoot a semi auto pistol left handed? Is there any problems doing so? I would like to get one but concerned about being left handed.

Thanks
Jeff

A lot of lefties shoot semi-autos.

And, there are a bunch of pistols with ambidextrous controls (mag release, slide release, safety) that pretty much eliminate any problems.

Gen 4 glocks can be swapped for left or right use.

some 1911 models and h&k models have ambi controls. H&k usp models have ambi mag releases already. The beretta 92/96 series have ambi controls and the mag release can be switched to the other side. I carry a sig 226 at work and have no problem shooting left handed. The only problem i have is finding left handed holsters.

I am a lefty as well. I currently carry a smith M & P 9c, no safety. I had the mag release switched by a gunsmith, and it is perfectly functional. No problems at all

I echo your sentiments though...it is tough to find a good semi that is built ambi...or at least enough so to make it useable for a lefty.
