Ok now I have a solid thought on this hit I'm saying liver maybe some lung

He told me it was at a slight quarter away 18 to 20 yards it took a step at release and it bolted good blood at ten yards from the hit and easy tracking for 80 to 100 then it slowed down and he jumped it at about 120 out it was on a bench bedded it got up and walked away and he backed out and the bed was soaked with blood give me your thoughts he hit it with a rage

Looks and sounds like liver/maybe guts. If it got just a lung probably wouldn’t have bedded so quick.
Blood is fairly dark like liver. With it being cold best to wait till morning. Should be dead.

I had a similar hit last year, if you think any liver than I would track it until no more blood, you may need to get someone with dogs to help. If you run out of blood I would try looking by water

Don’t push a liver hit, they can go for a while but will die.

Was it a pass through? What did the arrow look/smell like?

Likely liver and one lung. Should find him in the morning.

Hopefully it didn't go too far before rebedding. Rule of thumb for me is if the blood trail is light and doesn't get heavier quickly, or if I get close to that 100 yard mark, I am out of there to regroup.
