The landowner I lease land off of has a 190 acre chunk he wishes to have an access fee for the week of shotgun for a couple of hunters. It's in a great area and two 150+ have been taken off the bordering property within the last 3 years. The property has not been hunted this year and will not be until shotgun. I'm thinking he is going to ask $1000-$1500 a guy with no more than 3. Email me at [email protected] for more info and pictures. Property is mostly all wooded with great access, very limited hunting pressure in the area, and great neighbors.

For $1500 per person he should provide lodging, meals and guide service. Wow. Plenty of free public land in Ohio to hunt for those that take the time to research and do a little legwork.

This is a post for people interested. It was not intended to start a debate so please keep any comments that could start a debate to yourself. Again, I am not 100% sure on the pricing. Thanks.

sounds like your a middle man. if he leases to you, why is he asking a " access fee " for this tract ? imo a lease should be a yr long deal. i can't blame a LANDOWNER for making a buck off HIS/HER property, but a middle man has no place in brokering a deal on hunting property.

1500 a head plus lodging,meals,gas,license,tag is approaching 2500 a head to hunt property that has most likely been hunted this yr. explain why he leases to you, but decided not to cash in on this tract till shotgun season... i don't buy it middle man.

Re-read it grovey. I lease land (a separate chunk) off of the landowner I am in NO WAY PROFITING OFF OF THIS HUNT!!!! He leased the land as a "security" type of deal where he can control the number of hunters on the land because it borders some of his/the land I lease and he and I did NOT want the landowner or whatever to lease it out to a big group so he leased it himself. So my incentive out of the whole thing is to help him lease it to keep a big group off the property. All I am doing is finding a couple guys and once interested I am giving them his contact information and they can go from there! Next time you have a problem or ridiculous opinion PM me don't post on here and taint this thread.

AGAIN I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW I AM NOT A MIDDLE MAN PROFITING OFF OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
