Looking for another deer rifle in left handed bolt action model. There aren't a lot of choices out there. I'm leaning towards the Tikka T3. I have looked at Winchester and Remington, but a friend has recommended the Savage. I don't know IF they offer an LH model yet. I figure if it's a brand worth considering, I'll look into LH availability.
Looking up to about a $650 price point.
Thanks.

Savage does offer left handed models. I have a RH mod 111 in .270. love it.

Savage shotguns = not so good.

Savage rifles = great guns for the money.

Bought my boy a savage youth model 11 in 7mm-08 and have been very pleased with it.

I bought my first Savage rifle for my son to use when he turned 12 a few years back. The action is silky smooth and it' a tack driver. I find myself using it when he is not out.

I tried various ammo including handloads. They were both pretty much 2-2 1/2 MOA guns. Getting under a 2" group with either of them was great. With that said the most accurate gun I ever owned was a Savage model 11 right hand .243. I only sold it because I lost interest pretty much in anything under .270.
