Can you use the sap for anything? It seems like you should be able to but I usually just see uses for the roots.

Haven't you read up on Sassafras?? It is Cancer Causing
Everything of it causes Cancer, the leaves, wood, sap, smell, just looking at it!


Aside from that there smirking about what all is said about Sassafras....why wouldn't the sap be good to use for tea or soda in a recipe? If you boil the roots to get the sap/taste out of them to make tea or soda, why wouldn't the sap work??

Cancer ...hah! I have seen all the info about it. But doesn't everything give you cancer?

I saw no reason the sap wouldn't work just seeing if anyone had tried it. I was figuring on using a birch beer recipe, just with the sassafras.

Not here, everything is proven IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA....
