I read an article recently about a guy that uses salt on his twister tails for pan fishing. He says it works better than any scent you can buy. Has anyone tried it? I am going to try it next time I go bluegill fishing.
The guy said he just keep the tails in a plastic bag with table salt in it. He claimed that the fish hang on to the tail and hit it harder as well. Gotta try it and see for myself. I have heard of people spraying them with wd-40 as well but have not tried that either.
