I know the regulation for waterfowl is that you must be atleast 150yds away from an occupied building. Is it possible to get around this if you get written permission from the residence.

Just like anyother type of hunting, yes.

AS long as you have permission from the owner, tenant or whomever is in charge of the buildling. You do not have to have written permission but is saves a lot of time and headaches if you do.

also, it might be worth mentioning,
you also arent allowed to shoot across, or into that same safety zone of 150 yards, without permission!
