I was reviewing my old Speer relaoding book, last updated in 1988, and saw some load data for using round ball projectiles in .44 Special, .44 Magnum, .45 Auto / Rim, .45 Colt. While the data show some variance in RB diameter (.454 - .45 Colt and .433 - .44 Mag for example) I am curious if anyone has experience in terms of relaoding any of these rounds and if so what are your thoughts. Frankly, I have not relaoded in a long time and when I did it was mostly for rifle ammunition. However, I am curious about the use of RB in modern handguns as described in this manual.
