I bought my daughter the matched set 20 ga,22, 243 about 2 years ago. It is the blued with the black stock. We never changed barrels but what I can tell you is that the 243 performed well. I'm guessing there is between 80-100 shells down the tube with no malfunctions. I'm not saying the gun is great but it has served it's purpose as a youth model well.
