I had a Rossi .243-.50 cal inline. Honestly it's not of the highest quality,the wood is pretty basic and the blueing is thin,meaning it rusts easily,tool marks are evident. That being said, it's not a bad shooter and if you can pick one up cheap(should be no problem) would make a good kid's gun to start out with.IMO
I have the trifecta for my daughter in the blued/synthetic. Had it for about 2 years now. Not a bad shooter and had no problems with it what so ever. She has put about 100 to 120 rounds down the tube. Not rust issues.
