This morning 3toes-FishDr and myself were on the water for skis and only were into the day by about a half hour. We were traveling from one location to the next at about 25-30 mph and my boat found a rock not exposed. Needless to say the day was done..Holes, Huge dents, and a call to my insurance company when I got home. So I guess the inboard will be laid up for at least 3 weeks and who knows they may total it!!!

I hope you can get it fixed too man, definitely not a good outing. FYI - 3toes & I didn't find my glasses with the aquaview either. Saw some fish, but no skies with it. We didn't move any either. Tonight with the kids was fun though....a few channels, a big bullhead & tons of undersized crappies at Sayers.

That stinks, but I feel your pain! Back in 2001, I hit a rock while in Canada with my brand new (only had it 3 weeks) G3 19ft bass boat (w/ 150hp). That made for a long week up there. My insurance did cover the repairs though (it needed a new lower unit).
Did this happen on the river?

Bad, I suppose. Took me awhile to even find a BassTracker inboard 175hp let alone find one within 300 miles of PA. I just bought this in June. I did however fish out of it alot. Although as talking to my wife and father and I think if I am able to buy it back and have it fixed correctly I intend too, not a sure deal yet. I have started a search in case that falls through.

I have a 2002 Tracker Pro 185 with a 90/65 Merc jet I will let go for $7500. Same lay out as yours but with an outboard instead of the inboard. Features two fishfinders, extended deck, 65# MK Maxxum troller, two battery chargers, trolling batteries moved to front compartment to help with draft and plane.

I recently bought a RiverPro Lopro and am looking to sell off my Tracker. Will be willing to meet on the river at Sunbury if you like.

Let me know if you are interested.

Sorry to hear. If I was you and you have the money I would get a Tunnel hall boat with plastic bottom thats protect the Aluminum bottom. I guy down at my boat club has one he don't ever hit his motor on a rock or bottom. And the Plastic on the bottom protect the bottom of the boat. I think he may got it at this place. http://www.snyderboats.com/faq.htm. If I ever have the money that what I'll buy.
