At 13 + years old Hank has gone to the Briar patch in the sky that is full of rabbits to run.. That hound taught my son just what a rabbit hound is supposed to be and do... The hours on end of pure pleasure he gave us will be treasured !! Thanks Ole Boy, you were a fine hound !!

Just lost mine last week. Know exactly how you feel. Sorry you lost yor Hank. They're both up there doing what they did best now.

sorry for your loss. my dad's dog is 14; I learned to hunt rabbits over her much the same as your son did over your Hank, so I understand the feeling. It's never easy, but all the good years a dog gives you are worth the hurt. Farewell to you Hank! I hope you find a good briar patch out there somewhere buddy!

Thanks guys.... I was blessed to get my hands on Hank... He always gave 100%.. Retrieved rabbitts out of the briars for ya.. All around nice dog.. Mr. Dependable !!! Gonna concentrate on coonhuntin for now, Beagles will be on the back burner for awhile...
