Just returned from three days at camp. Finally starting to look and feel like spring. Had our first black bear sighting of the year. Walked right into the back yard Saturday while we were burning some brush. Thanks to the WCSA for stocking on Saturday morning. Quite a few trucks lined up at Laurelly in the morning. Looks like YWC and Hyner are good for the opener. Talked to a couple guys who mentioned the fishing on the West Branch of the Susqu. is really coming around. Certain spots have good populations of trout, bass, and a few pike. What a great recovery story. Deer sightings were expectedly low. Turkeys and grouse were vocal all three days. Heading back up Friday afternoon. Sorry, but no pics to share.
