Hey guys - looking for some help on how to reassemble my model 14. Took it apart to clean, and it needed it, now I can't ge the bolt assembly(?) back in to catch on the pump mechanism. Not sure how it hooks or goes back together. I've googles it, found some info and a poor video quality YouTube video but no help. Any ideas on how to put it back together?

go to remingtonsociety.com. there are detailed assembly drawings there and some helpful folks. hopefully you didn't take the bolt apart. if so, you may need a gunsmith.

I restored my Remington model 141 which is The same as a model 14. I too looked up the how to instructions online and found a how to on Wikipedia. It was still no walk in the park. after doing exactly what the instructions said it still would not go back together. I fought with it for 2 hours repeating the process every time and then all the sudden it just went together. I couldn't tell you what I did but I followed the instructions. I will NEVER do that again. good luck!
