Very good guns. Light ,accurate, and handy. They were the Model 7 long before the model 7. I have a friend who could hunt with any gun ever made, but he shoots his buck every year with his 600 in .308. The only one thats no fun to shoot is the 600 in .350 Rem Mag. That is one of the nastiest recoiling jaw busters any outfit ever made ! Its a good gun, you will like it. I beleive they started making those in 1964 or so.

That's the only one of those ugly things I can stand. And it could've used a little more barrel to maximize the cartridge.
