Very true. How would people kill deer today if they had to go back to the broadheads that were used 10 years ago? 20 years ago? 30...I guess that we wouldn't be able to find them because they would all get away. Wait, you wouldn't have to look for them because the old style don't fly straight.flanuva said:every broadhead made has the chance of producing a lost deer.
My grandfather told me when he started archery hunting in the 60's he started with a $5 fiberglass longbow from sears. He got a dozen wood arrows, and glued on 2 blade cut on impact heads. He shot quite a few deer with that set up. I don't think it could be done today.
