<span style="font-weight: bold">YOUTH SHOOTING PROGRAM - Informational Meeting on January 20th</span>

Meet new friends while learning the fundamentals of shotgun/pistol shooting!

The Mason-Dixon Clay Busters (MDCB) will be hosting an informational meeting to discuss their plans for the 2016 season. MDCB provides area youth the opportunity to get involved in exciting disciplines of shotgun shooting (trap, skeet, and sporting clays) as well as pistol shooting. Youth learn safe firearm handling techniques through regular practices and competitions.

The Mason-Dixon Clay Busters believes that it is very important to train the younger generation in safe, ethical uses of firearms. Our nationally recognized program is fun and exciting. Highly trained and certified coaches will guide youth step by step through the fundamentals of safe gun handling, marksmanship, equipment care, and the opportunity to compete in local, regional, and even nationally accredited amateur competitions.

An informational meeting is being held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Jefferson Sportsman’s Association (4707 Sportsman Club Rd, Spring Grove PA 17362). Youth between the ages of 12 and 23 who may be interested in an exciting sport that has few physical boundaries, and where there is a real opportunity to excel, should attend this informational meeting. Adults are encouraged to attend to learn more about our volunteer coaching staff.

<span style="font-weight: bold">ABOUT THE MASON-DIXON CLAY BUSTERS:</span>
Formed in 2006, MDCB became a 501c3 non-profit, tax exempt, charitable organization in 2008. Our shooting sports programs help to build self-confidence, while instilling responsibility and other positive life skills that help youth develop into respectable people in their communities.
MDCB offers an array of shooting sports programs including: shotgun and pistol skills, to the youth of the greater Southern York/Adams County Pennsylvania and Northern Baltimore/Carroll County Maryland areas. Participants range in age from 12 to 23.

Beginners are welcome! We do NOT require try-outs, we are here to teach youth of ALL skill levels. However, we do have limited capacity so membership is limited to a first-come registration basis until our limit is reached (usually around 50 athletes). We do ask the athletes to attend a Hunter Education class (and pass) prior to the first team practice. This helps us ensure the athlete knows basic firearm safety and gives us a starting point to build from. Safety is of utmost importance.

MDCB has been successful in helping a number of youth become local, state, regional, and national champions. We are always in search of donors willing to help with and support our programs. MDCB is also looking for shooting sports enthusiasts willing to join our expert, volunteer instruction and coaching staff. Anyone interested contact MDCB today!
