The reflex charger is a decent bow, the short brace height makes it the fastest reflex offered with an ibo speed around 320. It is about the only upper end reflex that doesn't use a tec riser design. I shot one a few times and it was comfortable but a little loud. I would suspect a better string tamer would quiet it down. Although parts could possibly be obtained through Hoyt the reflex line was dropped in 08 so they are discontinued, and as such may be difficult to get parts for if you ever run into a problem. $300 isn't bad but it isn't great either. When Hoyt announced they were dropping reflex you could pick up the chargers on sale at the big box stores for $329-349 and that was in 08 so it was a brand new bow. Now you are looking at a left over that is over 2 years old.
