Are old red ryders worth anything? I picked one up at a yard sale over the summer and was just wondering if it has a collecters value to it or not. Its about 30 yrs old and in mint condition, still has the leather attached to the saddle ring. Any thoughts?

I's say my son shot at least and this would be consevative at best..30'000 shots out of his! I bought alot of those 2500 paks that look like little milk containers over the years.. and my grandson is still shooting it, but it doesn't have much left in the tank..even sprayed some new oil in er' and she doesn't seem to want to recovery..I'd say more shot down that barrel than all my other rifles combined!!!!!! THE ONLY REAL WORTH WOULD BE THE MEMORIES THAT THE KID AND PARENT OR GRANDPARENT GOT and they would be PRICELESS to say the least!!

I got shot in the behind with one of those as a kid.... WOW!! I still remember dancing around in pain. Those things packed one heck of a wallop for one pump.
