Was able to watch this guy for awhile this morning. He captured at least four mice/ voles, while I watched.

Great! I love to watch fox hunt. Especially that pouncing thing. Several years ago I saw a mated pair running through a bean field. The bean plants were velvety green and the fox were bright red and dull red as you can immagine. Watching them porpose through that field and occasionaly stand up and look around was a wonderful sight. At the end of the field the pushed out at least 6 - 8 rabbits and each fox took off after one. I never saw the outcome but I wished them well.

How fortunate you were, not only to witness that, but to get photos of it, as well!!! Good Goin'!!!

Bucksbeware- the fox was about 100 yds away when I first saw him, but he worked his way to within 30yds and never really noticed me he was so involved with his hunting. The curled up one was probably 50 yds from the road.
