Seems a pretty straightforward job.

I stripped the old cover off, stretched the new one over the frame and reached for the stapler.

UH-OH!

What does it take to drive staples into these seats? I was trying to use an Arrow50 type with 3/16" staples, but they won't penetrate the plastic.

I have a pneumatic stapler, but the shortest staples that I can find for it are 1/2" long and will drive all the way out through the cover in places if I do that.

Are the electric staplers up to the task?

Is there a better option than staples?

I staple mine. The electric stapler will work. If 1/2" staples are all you can get try angling them toward the thicker foam. The manual staplers are not good for seat covers IMO.

The 1/2" staples are 1/4" crown wood staples.

I can get shorter ones for teh Arrow T-50 staples.

I guess I'll go get an electric one. I'm SURE I'll find more uses for it....
