[Squeaks]

Hello,
My rear brakes are shot... they don't stop you at all. I would suspect that it's the shoes needing replaced. Anyone ever replace them? How hard is it? I have done drum brakes before on my truck but never on something like this. Any special tools I need? Also do you think it might be the cable is shot? How thin should the pads/shoes be before I replace them.
Any and all help is appreciated...

I would imagine that they shouldn't be too hard. I would check them though first because if they build up with mud and dirt they will not work at all. even if you don't go in mud it still could be a possibility.

there is a way to check it if you need new shoes or a adjustment

I try to send you a photo on what to check seem there is a pointer mark and if they meet you need brakes,I got the same ATV
