Use one? What is your opinion?I dropped the spring for my on press mounted primer arm.Searched for it but could have went down a floor vent.I need to buy this as an upgrade or buy a primer arm or plug to get a spring.Unless smoene has spare spring.I made a spring but have not tested it yet.

I haven't primed with a press in so long I wouldn't even remember how to set it up! I've had a Lee Autoprime forever. It works. The only thing I had to do to the thing, ever, was open up the cartridge slot with a dremel for WSM cases....the new ones are already larger.

I used a Lee till I broke it (thumb lever). Bought a Lyman and LOVE it. For the same (or similar) price compared to the Lee, I'll take the Lyman every day and twice on Sunday. And I'll take any hand priming tool over press priming with equal enthusiasm.

I broke the press-mounted priming stem and had to get a hand primer to finish what I was doing (I live near Cabela's). I never bothered to replace the press mounted priming stem!

Haven't used a press priming system in over 35 years.

Went to Lee Auto Primes that long ago. The oldest one still works fine, because I've always kept the lever cam lubed. Have two, one for each sized primers.

Nothing beats the feel of a properly seated primer with a hand held tool.
