Im trying to help a buddy save a few bucks.

Anyone have any idea whats involved in changing plug wires on a Polaris Razr?

Im trying to do some homework before we tackle it tomorrow.

The plug wires alone were $65!!!

I tried Youtube...and had no luck.

Any help would be appreciated...

The whole wire or just the caps? You'll have to remove the wriring harness a tad bit to get at the wires. Is just like changing them on anything else.

If there is a problem, it might just be the plug caps. That's where problems are most of the times, just in the caps.

He has a wire thats worn thru from rubbing on something.

I havent seen it yet. I can only go from what he has told me.

He said the "distributor" or power pack...what its called on a quad...is all the way up under the seat?!?!

I have a polaris 800 and had to move the whole front end to do 2 spark plugs so i'm just saying it might be easier to remove plastic...Please let me know how u made out
