I am trying the ramcat 125gr broadhead in a Wicked Ridge Invader crossbow this year. I have found that the orientation of the broadhead blades to the arrow veins makes a big difference in how accurate a particular arrow shoots. Has anyone else found this to be true with these broadheads?

I had a hard time making Ramcats fly bad. Great shooting broadheads. Killed several turkeys and a deer with them. I would shoot them as is and I bet they fly pretty darn good.

I have been shooting them and found they shoot really well on certain arrows and not as good on other arrows. The good shooting arrows have the same blade to vein orientation...the others don't. I guess it could be something else with the arrow, but the only thing I can tell just by looking is the blade to vein orientation.

100 grains here. Wicked ridge shoots flat or omni nocks. If that is what you are using, trying orienting a different vane down on the arrows that seem to not be grouping with the rest. If that tightens up the group mark that vane as the cock vane. Can't do that with moon or capture nocks though. I am assuming you are using carbon arrows as well.

Every arrow has a spine, or stiffest part of the shaft. Sometimes, rotating the arrow 1/3 turn will open or close a group.

I use them out of my strykezone 380. Target shooting out to fifty and I can't shoot at same spot twice without ruining arrows. Making sure you have the correct spine makes a difference as well

Thanks for the suggestions...Shot some last night and things worked out better. I rotated arrows that were not shooting well and that improved their accuracy a lot...
