I am going to South Bethany August 20-27. We rented a house with a boat slip. If I leave my boat in the water all week, do I have to worry about barnacles?

If your not experiencing any performance changes I wouldn't
be concerned.

Best way to keep barnacles of a unpainted hull is use the cheap out of it.
I bottom paint my boats only because they are in from May sometime till late December if stripers are running.

When you pull the boat after vacation hit a coin operated carwash on the way home and wash it off good.
You will most likely get grass growth on the waterline then barnacles.

If you feel the boat is slower then you might be getting a build_up.

you will not have any problems what so ever with barnacles or algae grow if the boat is in saltwater for 7 days.
when you get home just wash the hull off and flush the cooling system of any salt
