Hit the bay yesterday with some friends and got lots of shooting. Blue bills, goldeneye, a mergy that passed one too many times, and a ton of buffies. We were 4 shy of our 6 man limit at 11am when the boat motor died on us and wouldnt fire back up. We put the guns away since we had no way to retrieve anymore downed ducks. Took us 3 hours to wait for our tow back to the ramp, but it was a fun morning while it lasted. Decent amount of old squaw out in the sea duck zone and a few scoters poking around, but we never made it out there like we had planned. Shooting 3.5"ers yesterday has my shoulder nice and sore today. But I guess as a waterfowl hunter, thats a good problem to have.
