any info on hunting small game around the dam or where to find maps of the area. checked the dcnr and game comm. sites and didn't find any thing except that it gets stocked with pheasants.the wife has a bad back and can't hunt any more but she still likes to get out so i try to find places where she can fish while i hunt. thanks

Are you talking about Prompton Dam in Wayne County???

yes. i saw that the area around the dam is an undeveloped st. park and gets stocked with pheasants

sorry it took me so long to reply.heading up to camp,near damascas,for early muzzleloader and grouse on sgl 159. saw that prompton was stocked with pheasant and want to find out more about area.thanks

The area they stock is past the boat mooring area on the right------You will see the fields. I have never hunted pheasants there but have heard and seen hunters in there while I was duck hunting upstream.
