They used to put out a mortality report every year. One of the categories was "killed for crop damage."

As for how many complaints they receive that I don't know.

The number of complaints that come through the regional office could be to some extent tracked though perhaps just by hand search. That would not track the complaints received by the officers on a local level though as many of those complaints never get called in and are instead given to the WCO via personal contacts, the State Police, County Control or any number of other means.

In the near future though all WCOs will be recording their own incidents via the computer system within their vehicles. Once that is up and running it should track pretty much every complaint the amount of time spent on each type of incident.
