Do you guys find it easier to obtain permission to hunt private property when you're seeking access for predator hunting/trapping versus deer hunting?

Yes. I also advise the land owner that I have insurance, and that I do not disturb deer hunters in the least. I tell them I only hunt at night, and am very quiet when going in and out. I also offer a work to hunt deal where I can offer my skills to help out around the property if needed.

Hi Chris,

I got my insurance from the N.J. State Federation of Sportsmans Clubs. They have a web site and are the only outfit I know of that has individual insurance. For $35.00 a year when you join you get 1 million bucks of liability hunting insurance anywhere in the U.S. when you are LEGALLY hunting, plus a monthly newsletter from Jersey. I've had t for years now.
