Potter county bunnies

What are you guys seeing for rabbit numbers in potter 3a? I have some friends with beagles that hunt Franklin, huntingdon, dauphin, and centre county and we are always looking for a change of scenery... We talked about going to my camp near couderort as there is so much open land with what to me looks like good rabbit cover. So access isn't the problem, but are numbers good this year? I can't say I ever looked for them when I'm there.... Hate to drag them up there and not get any chases in. Thanks

I wouldn't waste my time hunting cottontails up there now. There is about 2 feet of snow, usually cottontails head to ground in that kind of snow.
I should have mentioned we will prob come up towards the end of the season

Lot's of cottontails around there but like John say's. I'd wait until the snow gets hard...
