I predict you will be amazed by the amount of bugs. That should be the height of the hatch up there and it will be ugly. I stay away then seems like the walleye are gorged with them. you should do ok are you booked with a casting or trolling charter ?

casting, booked trip last minute and that was his open dates we usually go the week after Fathers Day but fishing has been slow the last couple trips at that time. Seems we always run into the bugs.

We just got back ...6 of us on boat and caught 23 keepers Friday and 14 Keepers Saturday. Had fun Will do it this Fall after they fatten up...

Went out on Tuesday to fish Wed. and Thurs. got cancelled for the first time in 12 years on Wednesday. Fished Thursday and at noon the lake was like a mirror, we catch 2 legal walleye. Had to here our captain say it was the worst day of the year for him. I think we need a change? I did get a 28" head
