I received an order of white pine bare root seedlings this week. When I opened the box I could see that they had already broke dormancy. The candles were almost an inch long on some. They looked healthy otherwise. I went ahead and planted them. I planted them close enough to house that I gave them a good watering. Has anyone had any luck planting bare root seedlings like that? Thanks.

Just fifty. I've never seen them that far along before. I can't remember from previous years but it seems like a little late shipping. Thanks.

I had some that way too. I planted them and two weeks later they are still growing.
