Hello,
I need a male tapered tap. The size is where I am confused. The size I need to make the female connect is exactly the same size as a male tip on a garden hose. So my question is what size tap do I buy? Is it an 1 1/16"?
Thank you

Turn the hose around!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Saw this when Gooooogling...

"The thread standard for garden hose connectors in the United States and its territories is known as "garden hose thread" (GHT), which is 3/4" diameter straight (non-tapered) thread with a pitch of 11.5 TPI (male part has an outer diameter of 1 1⁄16 inches (26.99 mm)."
