I have decided to go with a cut on contact non mechanical head and it will be either one of these heads. Anyone have any firsthand experiences they care to share about either one, good or bad. Any and all comments welcome!

Thanks, Paul

never used either, but just looking at the phat head makes me not want to use them. i really dont think that those "bleeder blades" would serve any real purpose. looks like a pretty bad marketing scheme. it will definately still kill a deer like the rest of the broadheads on the market.

Thanks fo the comments so far! I should have clarified on the Phat Heads. I am asking about the standard fixed head Phat Heads, not the SOB's, even though they do look interesting.

right about what? what r u talking about? you made 19 post and talked about bownazi in over half. the OP didnt state which ones(since nothing was stated, i assumed the SOB's since they are new). nothing on mathewsinc supported any claim of the bleeder blades doing being great. it can be a great head as well as the original phat head. i just dont see the reason for those bleeder blades. one guy shot a bear and one guy shot a half a dozen groundhogs??????

the reason people reply is to share experience and to point out things on products that others might not think about. im not sure why you do.

I guess i'll post my question again to clarify

Original Phat Head vs. Razor Trick

I have decided to go with a cut on contact non mechanical head and it will be either one of these heads. Anyone have any firsthand experiences they care to share about either one, good or bad. Any and all comments welcome!

Thanks, Paul

Thanks for the nice comment.

I do like to read, but you posted 11 links, and I was looking for firsthand experiences so maybe I could ask a quesition or two. I do appreciate your time to post to this topic, but the "since you don't like to read" comment was not called for.

Sorry about that.I posted all of that so that you could read many other people's opinion's...and firsthand experiences instead of mine.If I didn't like SF PH's I would have said so...
If you would have read them you would have known that.
