To say this is one of the worst starts to my deer season is an understatement. This however opens up the door to other hunting when you just get a little down and want a change of pass. October 19th came and I spent the morning filming and hunting inline seeings 13 doe and 2 bucks even though most consider a good day was frustrating due to the fact the doe I could get on film I couldn't shoot and the ones I could shoot I couldn't get on film, on top of that I had a nice seven point walk up to me the one time I don't have my bow. This however left me to grab the camera and go out for some squirrel. I ended up film a bit of action and including harvesting a nice size fox squirrel. I also did a brief section on my gun I inherited from my great grandfather, a savage model 24 chambered in .22lr and 410. This gun to me is balanced perfectly giving me the .22lr to plunk squirrels and 410 to handle not only squirrels but bunnies and even the rare occasion I would flush a pheasant. I just wanted to share this video with everyone here and I hope to make a trip back to camp to hunt grouse never have hunted them before but I figured I might as well give it a try considering in one day of rifle I personally flushed 5 grouse by almost stepping on each one.

Here is the link to my video I made:
