Bought a Parker Safari magnum with the cocking unit about four years ago. First crossbow; never could shoot a compound bow. Two torn rotator cuffs and ten dislocations on right shoulder will do that. The Parker is OK, but on the heavy side. My first discovery was that the triple dot scope that comes with the Parker is junk. I bought a used Ten Point scope on ebay, and it is just perfect. Adjustments right on. Otherwise, the Parker is a good xbow.

not a bad X-bow. My brother-in-law has one and it has worked well. I feel that its a little top heavy. But it shoots nice. He wacked a few deer and no problems.

PS Cableas had this bow on sale for a great price!

Will Cabelas handle any warranty claims for you or is it hands off deal after they make a buck?I ask because I see a boat load of stuff on this site for sale from Cabelas.Gift cards, coveralls, bows etc.By the way Cabelas can't sell a Parker bow for less than any other shop due to MAP pricing. So the sale they have is a discount to the actual price of the bow.Parker dealers can charge more but not less than MAP.

Just remember the Parker Lifetime Warrenty is for the "original" owner only. I have heard nothing but great remarks about Parker's service. Just a heads up on used bow equipment. If it was never registered your over. IMO the reason you see so much Cabela's stuff available is they just sell so much is there anyone out there that does not have something from them? I have always had great service fro them also.
