The forearm on the Tornado...kinda hard to describe in words, but I'll try.
The "dip" in the stock just forward of the trigger...when shooting at an extreme downward angle, such as a treestand....place the begining of the "hump" into the palm of your hand and your elbow into your hip. Very steady.
When shooting from a standing position...put your fingers through the hole in the forearm. There is no chance of getting your fingers in strings flight path. Very safe.
The Tornado was designed for treestand hunting. The limbs are compact, the stock is designed to hold at downward angles. Just my opinion, but I think the Tornado is about the perfect treestand hunters crossbow.
The Buck Buster 175 and the Tornado are both rated at 330 f.p.s. The Tornado, because of it's inverted cams is a bit shorter. The Buck Buster is a bit wider because of it's limb/riser system. It will also vibrate a bit after the shot.
