I have a Parker hornet and when I bought it I bought some Victory arrows that had 1/2 moon nocks. I used this setup for 5-6 years and had a limb separate on me last week. Parker suggest using their capture nocks and only their capture nocks. Did me using the 1/2 moon nocks result in the limb separating over time? (I would think if it was a nock issue and being I shot the bow MANY times over the last 5-6 years I would had an issue before now if it was the nocks). Just trying to determine if I need to change over to the capture nocks.

I'd highly recommend capture nocks. That's what Parker calls for. I've been using them for 5 years without an issue. If nothing else....it's piece of mind. Good luck.

not as long as the bolt was against the string every shot
