All my trapping land is private with sole trapping permission. One property I noticed several deer stands so I pulled the sets close to them. I have about 10 other set on the other side of the valley. There is one blind set up over there so I disabled a few of those close to it and covered them. I don't want to disturb anyones hunt. Whats your thoughts, I'm planning on getting to sets around 5am. I can drive to most of them and get out in under 30min. Hopefully they won't be in the feild yet.

Pulled everything this morning, even though I used my buck tag during archery I don't want to mess up any of the landowners or thier family while they are hunting. It can be a good way to loose that particular property.

I may have messed up my doe hunting today due to a naughty fox that dug my holes out without touching the traps. Dug out from back/side. Spooked same 3 deer I watched earlier while hunting, but didn't present the shot I wanted. Some smartypants doe and her 2 youngins. Since dug from back/ sides, I have grey fox in my mind. Or possibly the red that got out late last season. Remade them into walk-throughs with lure/pee.

So yeah, trapping activities can spook deer.

Well said. If you think you can run some sets without messing anyone up than go ahead and do so.
Ask your land owners if they mind you trappin during deer season. Personally I go by furcatchers thoughts, all my farmers/land owners hunt or family and friends hunt so I don't want to upset anyone.

I pulled cuz the punkin patch members like to set them off and they also like to fill your catch with bullets or just steal it....really hate deer season!!
