357 magnum is made to handle the high pressures of that cartridge.

Any ammo that says 38 special can be shot out of a 357 Mag as they are all weaker when compared to a 357.

ttt
Re: +P out of a Taurus .357?

You got a correct answer....why ttt???

Why shoot a +p 38 in a 357mag anyway?? Why not shoot the 357mag if you want hotter??? Plink with 38 specials...carry or hunt with 357mags....38+p is between the special and the mag...and like was said, any 38 load is fine in a 357mag....

Got a deal on some +P but never shot it before. Just thought it better to be safe than sorry.

I got ya...figured it was somethin along those lines...

But yes...your fine as the mag has more pressure than the +p's....
