Found something better at 2:42 am this morning. Emma Rose 7Lbs. 7oz.

Oysters are in the fridge, picked every bug off by hand. When we get home I'm just going to make a pepper, onion, and mushroom stir fry. Just going to rinse them fast pat dry and throw them right in the pan. Have some venison sausage ready to go on the side. Just have other things to worry about today!

never soak mushrooms is salt water, thats a myth and it will ruin them.

a simple 10 minutes soak in col tap water is all you need, and a little work with a paring knife to clean up the oytsers (or whatever mushroom)

Partner, you are my hero. Getting after mushrooms with ALL THAT going on. If that gal keeps you around, you sure picked a winner.

Picked those a few hours before she went into labor. Planned on cooking them Monday night but we got home today. Plan on cooking them in a bit.
